A Joe & Jenna Romance; Chapter 5
Jenna wiped her eyes, feeling her mascara running down her cheeks. She wipes her tear-stained face, feeling the cold wind hit her face. She cries a little more, before taking her phone out. "Oh shoot, I left my charger."
"I think this is yours." A voice says in the middle of the pitch black.
Jenna cautiously asks, "Who are you? Sorry, I can't see anything." The voice responds with a slight chuckle, "You don't need to know that." The voice became deep and lower. "Here's your charger." His hand brushes her hand, sending her automatic shivers. "Uh, thanks. I should go." Jenna gets up, but two hands grab her arms and set her down on the park bench. She tries to let out a scream, but another pair covers her mouth, not being able to make a sound. Jenna kicks at the air, she starts flailing her arms, trying to struggle out of their arms. But, they were no match for her. The next thing she sees is the faint darkness in her eyes.
"Jenna..." She warily opens her bloodshot eyes. She looks up to see a blur of Todd's face. "You were out for a while." He grins deviously. "But you seemed to have a great time."
After hearing this, she immediately shoots up and sees she's sitting in bed, in Todd's dorm, with nothing on, but a red, velvet robe. "What the hell am I doing here?" Todd kisses her neck. "You enjoyed it." Jenna starts tearing up again. Todd wipes her eyes, "Hey, its okay." Jenna shoves him, "Don't you dare touch me!!" She screams through her tears. "Where... wh-ere are my things??!" Todd manages to get back up from her hard shove, "Geez, their over there." Todd kisses her cheek, "Calm down, babe, you'll be fine."
Jenna lets out a small whine, "NO! I will not be fine! Do NOT call me babe!" Todd grins, "I think it's sexy when you moan like that." Jenna holds a disgusted expression on her face. "You are such a freak. What happened to you and Monique?!" Todd makes a weird face, "Ew, I dumped her. She's such a baby. Besides, it was worth it." He stares at her. Jenna feels like crying over again. "Please tell me exactly what happened in the past two hours." Todd smiled and nodded his head towards the garbage can. Jenna was afraid to get up and look. When she did, she started crying all over again. There in the garbage can was... a condom wrapper.
Jenna grabs her things, walks out the door, and slams it behind her. She's not a few feet away, just when she hears Todd chase after her, "Jenna! Hey!!! Wait up!!" Jenna is weak, so she slows down, and lets herself glide in Todd's arms. "Jenna, I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have done that. I was drunk and you know how guys can get when they are. I'm so sorry. Please don't go."
Jenna stares into his eyes, "I don't even know you, Todd." Todd wipes her eyes, "And yet, I do know you." Jenna screams, "No you don't!"
"Okay, maybe I don't know you. You're right. But we can change that. Jenna, give me a chance." Jenna feels an odd emotion inside of her, "Todd, I have a boyfriend. And you know what?! You just freaking raped me in there! Do you think I'd give you a chance?!!?!?"
Todd searches for an explanation, "But you were just so tempting! You're cute, smart, funny, and you have a great personality. I felt hurt that night when you walked away from me!" Jenna stomps her foot, And what, that's supposed to give you a reason to SEDUCE me?!" Todd can't help but smile at her anger. "You know, you're pretty cute when you're mad." He smiles. Jenna rolls her eyes, "Don't you DARE change the subject, Todd!"
Todd gets his serious face on again. "Okay, I'm sorry. You can slap me all you want and yell at me. But, please, give me a chance?" Jenna stomps on his foot. "Even if I didn't have a boyfriend, I'd NEVER give you a chance!!" Jenna runs towards her car and drives off to the airport.
Jennas phone rings and she fumbles to answer. "Hello?"
Joes reassuring voice is heard on the other line. "Babe, where are YOU? We've been waiting here for five fours!"
Jenna drops her things on the floor and starts tearing up, making people stare at her. "I'm sorry, Joe, but can't you just..."
"Hey, is everything alright?" Joe hears her shaky voice over the phone. Jenna wipes her tears and sniffles, "Nothing is wrong, Joe. I'll be there and everything is going to be fine." Joe smiles to himself, "Okay, bye, I love you." Jenna hangs up and whispers to herself, "I hope everything WILL be fine..."
