lance fortune,real name chris morris as like so many of the artists from the 50's and 60's changed their name.this record be mine, was released i believe in 1960 and went to the top of the uk charts.

  • I love this song...remember it well. I was very surprised to see the picture on the video. I also have the LP 'Swinging 60s'. Having no record player, it doesn't get played much these days. :)

  • He was living in Menorca and I saw him performing back in 2004 under the name of Robin Elliot.

    He plays with just a guitar and drum backing track in several bars around the Island. He sounded absolutely amazing and still had a great voice! He even took the time to sit with us and have a few drinks. A great guy.

  • I remember seeing him singing this song on stage at Sheffield City Hall. The Everly Brothers were top of the bill. It was a brilliant night. Think I was about 16.
