Sorry and as for knowing if the book of Mormon is Translated correctly, just read it and do the challenge presented by Moroni at the end of the book, He says to ask of God. It is as simple as that. Pray and ask God and whatever your answer is, is for you to follow.

The Bible is still the word of God. The reason we believe it isn't completely correct is because, and I'm sure you agree, it has been played with a lot. How do we know what is true and what isn't? We pray, we ask God. We are taught to seek after personal revelation. We are told to ask questions because without questions there is no knowledge. We can only interpret the Bible. Like our other scripture, it is still something we study throughout our lives. Does that answer your question?

I love how the 8th Article of Faith makes that distinction for the Bible - "as far as it is translated correctly". But it doesn't make the same qualifier about the Book of Mormon. How do we know the BoM has been translated correctly?

Mormonism claims to translate correctly But uses a Stolen Plagiarized Book with over 4000 redactions and not a source to justify even one! The Book Of Abraham would make any Charlatan blush for it's Incompetency. Where is the authority to translate granted? From hell's imagination? From the inner self, hell alone. (And I posted "Joseph Smith Should Have Known Better" I show a book, "American Antiquities...." 1830. Over 30 Pages on Champollion. He was known, despite documentary claims otherwise)

@2morrowman 2nd Nephi is a falsehood, just like every chapter is a falsehood. The Lord has shown me that the Mormon Church is a falsehood, and there is one truth that its followers don't grasp - that salvation is by grace of God alone by faith in Jesus Christ.

Could any man have made this up? Check 1 Peter 5:8, as far as it is correctly translated. Even the devil believes and trembles, does that make him a Christian or a witness bearing testimony that Jesus is the God, not a god. I'm sure Satan has a burn in his bosom and has read the BOM.

Perhaps you should study the doctrine contained in the Book of Mormon and then ask yourself," Could any man have made this up?" I tell you the answer is no. It preaches of Christ in a plain and beautiful manner. It makes plain many doctrines that are not so clear in the Bible, it is a second witness with the bible of Jesus Christ and His divine mission.

If straight is the way is true in the LDS church, the book of mormon is causing a mighty curve in that path ! Grant Palmer will surely agree to that and he is LDS !
