@musicamaxima It's not a "bad" imitation of spoken American English, I guess. She sounds like a poorly trained American singer. Too bad Rutter is a British composer, or her interpretation might be arguable. It's a shame, really... she has a lovely rich voice. It would have sounded much better if she'd rolled her r's like the baritone.

@musicamaxima I know that. I'm wondering why she DIDN'T roll her r's, especially since I know it's not natural to chew them all for normal Spanish speech. It sounds unpleasant. I wonder if she thought that chewing them all made her sound more English.
