Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel CANSWERSTV; websites: BibleQuery.org, HistoryCart.com, & MuslimHope.com) is joined by author & speaker Bob L. Ross of Pilgrim Publications, the world's leading publisher of the works of Charles Haddon Spurgeon (PilgrimPublications.com) for this presentation. There are many Bible doctrines that pastors & teachers rarely if ever talk about because of unpopularity which then causes them to have a deep fear of rejection by their listeners (which could also cause a drop in donations to their ministries). "Politically correct" theology many times replaces straightforward Bible teaching that may "rock the boat" in many congregations. Pastors & teachers many times will "avoid" plain Bible teachings to avoid "problems" that these teachings might cause. However, Larry Wessels & Bob Ross are not concerned with this as the truth of God's word (Acts 20:27) is more important than only prophesying doctrines that people are comfortable with (Isaiah 30:9-11). Topics for show #11: Unpopular Bible Doctrine #49: God can & does kill people on the spot - Genesis 19:26, #50: God has & will shut the door on people who cry out to him for mercy - Micah 3:4, #51: Imprecatory Psalms (Biblical prayers that accuse the wicked, call for the destruction of evil doers & a rejoicing in God's judgment against the wicked) are popular with God but not with men - Psalm 58:6-10, #52: God says He is revealed as the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit, historically known as the Trinity (Matthew 28:19) - Titus 3:4-6.
This series is designed to educate viewers about the big difference between what God is perceived to be in popular culture & what the Bible actually says about the Living God Who is, in fact, really there.
