very nice. it actually helps with non-cheating things as well. i have a thing im selling thats gold but it shows up kinda whitish and i did that and it looks perfect. photoshop is great

Awesome job explaining this trick. Gimp users can do this trick too - same basic terms. Also with Gimp, use colorize tool (not to be confused with colorify filter). When it changes image color, adjust hue.
