If the USA believed that Iraq posed a threat due the production of weapons of mass destruction, why aren't they in Nth Korea & Iran??? Answer...they would lose! Secondly, the USA is a country the rest of the world used to look upto but with torture (approved by the Bush administraion) now part & parcel of the democratic nation, America is now the laughing stock in rest of the worlds eyes. Lets hope Obama can turn it around! PS - vote Vetura for president!!

Jessie Ventura's argument that "we only waterboard Muslims" is the silliest argument I've heard yet against waterboarding. I'm not saying I support waterboarding, but the fact is the military only waterboarded 3 TERRORISTS with an agenda to destroy American ... who who happened to be Muslim. They were NOT waterboarded because they were Muslim. This is just silliness!

Ventura's statement that Bush & Cheney lied about why we went into Iraq is a lie that has been repeated so many times it is now accepted as truth. ALL 15 independent intelligence agencies had the SAME info which was the substantiation for going into Iraq. Multiple nations agreed with the US, along with 100% of Congress. The info for going to Iraq was provided by the 15 intelligence agencies NOT Bush & Cheney. Errors in intelligence came to light afterward. Hindsight is 20-20, but NO ONE LIED

But we all know they knew this before hand and even if hypothetically they didn't lie originally the fact is they used the lie for years after they found out it was bogus intel so that is as bad and even worse.

You say they used the "lie" but hypothetically they aren't lying. You can't have it both ways. But think about it ...
if they lied, they managed to convince Congress, convinced 15 intelligence agencies to coordinate their intel to support their "lies", convinced the UK, Australia, Kurdistan, Denmark, Poland and the Iraqi National Congress they were telling the truth ... or perhaps the intelligence they had was inaccurate but once they began battle against really bad guys they wanted to win.

It's a good thing the Liberals weren't in charge during WWII or we would be speaking German and/or Japanese today.
