@MusicallyUbiquitous Not at all. Maybe my first comment was a bit hard, but I love this song so much that I cannot stand hearing a bad cover. I understand that she is maybe a great singer, but her performance does not match. She is just demonstrating her technique (tough I don't really like it) but it lacks the soul that this song requires. @saucesacla Well, than we can agree to disagree. Everyone has their own opinion! In my opinion, she is better than Mariah, 'cause her voice sounds more... lived. It may not look that way on this recording, because it is from her "earlier" years, but if you youtube her now, she's phenomenal! But, that's just my vision :)

@MsTanjaMarieJane No sorry, I don't like these kind of singers pretending to be mariah carey or else, with all these airs and clichés in her voice and gesture. She is maybe humble in real life, but her singing is way too much mannered. But I respect her talent, she has the voice, but not the style.

Sorry but this is truly awful and an offence to original track sang by Aretha... Her voice is like the one of a child and when it gets high it's more like horrible screaming. She obviously can't deal with high notes, this is a real pain to hear. There are better cover of this song, such as Beth Hart in duet with Joe Bonamassa which is awesome. Go listen to a real singer
