Heavy coats docu *school project*

*This is a reupload in better quality and edited as well...The intro is now completely monochrome and I've taken out a small part wich featured deep purple's smoke on the water since it had no valeu to leave it in*

For a college project we had to do a portrait video of one of our classmates. I chose Douwe Bolsenga and since he's a guitarist I let him lay in this imaginary band Heavy Coat.
The story tells about his struggling with playing before an audience and the thought of if he's good enough to perform at all.

I do like the montage in this video and the effects are helping to get a darker feeling towards the end, but in hindsight I might have chosen just one song, for the scenes are following each other up too quickly to have this many tunes...Might reupload this video.
Another thing what still bugs me is the interview part had gone wrong and out of focus, also the 3way lighting is nearly noticeable.
Last gut spilling comment is the audio of the interview, we had a terrible time setting up our ENG and for the last part I used the camera alone for audio...So it's kinda noticeable bad :(...
Thumbs up for the actors though, especially the main actor himself...He plays a good rockband guitarist :).

Voice overs and interview are in Dutch. He talks about being in a band and how what got him there.
