Discovered this band yesterday. Already hooked. Great band.
-
So agreed man.
-
@ThePoopcash I've got to agree with you, I like very little of TMV beyond Deloused. I like Prog, have done since I was in my teens, but it's frustrating for a band with so much talent to make so music that can be quite easily ignored.
-
@eman940 exactly. more shit that isn't needed. Cedric has even said that, talking about their new album...
-
@ThePoopcash i disagree,
the mars is like this plus more, much much more
-
@Marsdevilsvolta Thanks dad.
-
@ThePoopcash yep, AND maybe when you get older you will understand why i said 'when you get older' :)
-
@Marsdevilsvolta When I'm older? Wow...
-
@ThePoopcash nah dude, maybe when you get older you will appreciate the mars volta more. they are two completely different bands and two completely different styles of music. maybe that dude was wrong but so are you. im just happy they are back and if it is just the one show, two weekends though :), so be it thats all i ever wanted.

@IEatTacosForDinner No it doesnt. Everyone knows Volta isnt half the band ATDI was, and it is sad they didn't keep it going for the last 10 years, esp because music in general would have been so different than it is now.

I find that there are very few albums that are great from start to finish. That album that you just have to pop in, sit back, and listen to for an hour and a half. Well ATDI obviously accomplished that! I haven't listened to this album since I was in 9th grade. It amazing to hear it 7 years later and still be blown away by its beauty and feel the rush of nostalgia of a 15 year old Mpls kid with choppy hair always drowning in his headphones. I listen to a lot of hip now, but ill always love ATDI
