This is probably an unpopular opinion but I much prefer New Order to Joy Division. They epitomised the 90s for me.

Joy Division was a band from the late 1970s that made "Love Will Tear Us Apart" and "Dead Souls," and then their singer killed himself, so they changed their name to New Order.
