A visit to Floreana (Galapagos) and the Wittmer Hotel (2010)

In July 2010 we were with a group, travelling Ecuador. We also visited the Galapagos-Islands. Here you see our visit of the Island of Floreana. We stayed in the Wittmer-Hotel, and visited also the Place where the Wittmer-Family stayed first when they arrived, ie. the Cave of the Pirates and the only well on the island. Our two Guides explained this fascinating family-story to us, which is published in German Language in the book "Postlagernd Floreana", written by Margret Wittmer herself.
