Im about to try homebrewing a small batch of ale or something this winter.I dont know much about brewing but ive been into fermenting lately kombucha kefir and sourdough.and i would say you just over fermented or if it only happened on your last bottle it just had alot of yest/sugarars left over and is perfectly ok?Just concentrated beer.Is this what you came to conclusion?

@jmoh... you could be right. The last bottle sucked up the last bit of beer from the bottom of the bottling jug. Maybe some left over heavy syrupy mix was there. Or, possible that bottle was contaminated. I took it from my friends stash since I ran out.

Everybodys saying you used too much priming sugar... anyways my question is how much priming sugar did you actually use? just curious

@07Bolla If I could remember I'd tell you. But it was the amount suggested in the recipie. I think the problem was a contaminated bottle. All the other bottles came out fine... perfect. It's a shame the one we chose to do our tasting on was bad. But that's reality for you!
