inFamous2 - Free Powers and Teleportation Glitches

This one video shows 2 glitches that use the UGC.

First is the Free Powers glitch. Any powers you buy while playing a UGC don't consume any XP. You don't even need to be playing a published mission, as the video shows.

Second is the teleportation glitch. When you quit UGC, you get back in game at exactly same point as where marker was in UGC Editor. You can use this to insta-travel anywhere on map, even reach blocked off areas like Flood Town.

what camera/settings/renders did you use?? I have an HD camera and the tv looks like crap on it. its LCD

@iluvpichu I don't remember for sure and I lost all my raw files in an HDD crash so can't lookup that either. I played around with it during my GodOfWar3 vids and found an optimal one. Also, I mostly record at night with all lights off, though this one was recorded around 5pm in evening.

I guess in a speedrun you can just teleport to the end of each level then?

@findlestick Only from end of one mission to start of another. Once a mission starts, you can't. I used glitch to access a locked out part of the map. As for game, I'd say play inFamous first, it should be free on PSN for you [Welcome Back program]. If you like it, you'll definitely love this one. I am having fun with the UGC tool, in fact more than LBP's creation tools.

Normally I don't exploit glitches, but I just finished beating the game on my second playthrough and just want to get the trophy for all powers without spending hours grinding EXP. Thanks

@amadeofan1 I don't condone using glitches on first run on any difficulty, but they come in handy during subsequent fun runs. However, in this game it doesn't really make much of a difference as upgrades are unlocked by in-game progress and you rarely run out of XP early on. But, it will help those who don't want another playthrough just to get a trophy.

yeah i went to flood town and turned back as soon as the ice guys saw me. lol. but ive unlocked it now
