Our 8 week old chocolate Patterdale terrier Enzo playing with our 5 year old black Patterdale terrier Sprocket. Sprocket is enticing Enzo with a toy while Enzo barks and growls from under the coffee table.
@nuala123able They are really big on aggression but they learned how to get along. They always play rough.
When we first got the puppy, the older one was about 4 or 5 and it took him a good couple of weeks to even interact with the puppy; he wouldn't even look at the him. Later they figured out how to interact and we were really careful to make sure they didn't play too rough so the puppy didn't get hurt.
I would say just slow, monitored interactions until they figure it out.
We are looking to getting another puppy We have a patterdale terrier called Jack He is one year old
Question is do you think it's a good idea to add another patterdale Your two seem to get on really well Is there much aggression from the older one
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thankyou
