  • how do i get the ingame voice chat to show up on my hd pvr when i record a video the sound is blank but the video is there?

  • @oSuzpended Ok, are you using Astros? I explain how to do what you ask in detail in the video. You would be able to do the same with any headphone that provides a 3.5mm Stereo jack breakout of green/pink, with the addition of splitters and patch. Let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll help any way I can. Thanks for watching...

  • great vid very informative just a quick question, running with that set up are you still recicing digital audio with the 5.1 in your headest or has it now became analog sound... again thanks a lot for the vid

  • I find my voice is quiet, you say your is loud, does that mixer amp it. I'm doing it without the mixer.

  • Nice

  • hi i know im a bit late to watch your vid but would you mind sending me the names of the cables and the mix please

keep up the good work nice vid

  • Hey man, I was wondering if you could help me out. In my setup at the moment, I am running Astro A40's with a HDPVR (Same as you). I don't feel the need to buy the adapters to play on HDMI, but I want to be able make it so I can record me, the game, and my team. And so far your setup makes the most sense. Can you tell me what I need to make that possible?

I have the male splitter that came w/ my astros already, but can you tell me what cables and stuff i need to hook it all up?

  • Could you list links to what adapters you need.

  • @d07clan Alright, Thanks because I'm trying to get a set up by Christmas, and by far your video has been the most helpful. I also have a computer monitor that only has HDMI 1080p, and I was holding back from getting a HDPVR because of the component cables only support 1080i. The HDMI splitter is a great Idea. So one more question haha Sorry, Would I be set if I bought a HDMI splitter and then the component converter? Like would the component converter convert the 1080p signal into 1080i?

  • @deanbaja yes thats all. the pvr sends the optical signal with no lag or loss of quality to the astro mixamp.

  • @d07clan I have a question, would it work, if you used an optical cable from the ps3 out into the HDPVR then into the astro?

  • Thank you sir for the nice setup. i'll be using it to record some games of the Quantic Devastation boys and how we play.

  • so with that hdfury2 you can game in 1080p? or does the pvr force you to play on 720p. some people told me i cant play on 1080p and record on 1080i. is this true?

  • I am little confused, could u list the items i need other than the pvr and the astro(and its cables) ?

  • Hey cinergy, quick question. I want to duplicate your setup but I cant find the HDFURY2 or 3 online anywhere, I checked the website on the actual device on your video and it seems like nobody sells it anymore. I only found one on ebay for 50. question is my TV is brand new and I use HDMI. Can I get away without using the splitter and the converter? I am more worried about live gameplay audio than a perfect picture.

Do you notice any lag in your voice on your actual videos with this setup? TX!

  • This is the best setup I've ever seen, once I get the money it'll be just like this :)

  • @OfficialZTv Watch the video, it's fairly long, but completely worth it :)

  • How Do You Connect Your HDPVR To Your Ps3 Using HDMI??????

  • to the video creator: If i want to wait and get the hdmi splitter and HD Fury 2 until later i can still use this setup minus the extra quality?

Also I have the PVR and astros and mixamp + all the cables that came with it. Can you please tell me what extra cables i will need other than the white radio shack Y adapter? Thanks

  • Hey good setup.. Stumbled over here from looking at astro unboxings lol.. I stream live on jtv. this is awesome to see you are pulling your voice without a second mic.. My a40's and 30's get here later this week. Just saying thanks for the info on this video.. IF you dont mind can you tell me where you got the extra stuff needed to run this setup aside from the Radio shack mixer. Thanks again

  • Thanks for doing this video. I've been trying to find out how to do this. I'm missing a few parts in this setup but I will get them so I can record live callouts.

  • is it still possible to capture your own voice without the mixer board? e.g. through the use of a different kind of splitter? im not too bothered if my voice sounds as though in a different room. I just want to be able to do on the fly commentary during a game, say for a "Lets Play"

    thanks in advance

  • I'm favoriting this for future reference. Nice setup man!

  • Also are you playing in 720p?

  • Does your HDMI Splitter work with Xbox 360s? I definately need one.. You got a link for one of these? Also i'm from the UK

  • i have same set up and have been recording with it for a while but i need to be able to listen to chat via my A40's and record it at the same time, can anyone help me with this please?

  • So many dam wires lmao .... KingDougieFresh
