yeah ..its limited but got quite a fat sound . I didnt think it was so good until I sat down and played it for a while. Has a very nice chorus effect on it.

Hmm, Korg is always Korg. This subtle broken feeling never change. Wild but precise. Distorted but clean. Heavy but bright. It's very Korg-ish.

bought a really battered one of these about six months ago as a cheap (ish) way of getting some analog (and indeed some polyphony) into my cheapy-cheapo pocket-money set-up. i love it to bits. beats a real piano any day.

I just found an LP 10 on Craigslist and picked it up for $80....based on this demo video, I though it may have some potential. The keyboard came with the original vinyl case. I may buy a Korg monotron and have a very inexpensive all analog synth!!!! Thanks!!!

Thanks for not playing a bunch of crazy solos to show the extent of the keyboard. As a reference to that "not a demo of my skills as keyboard player", I think alot of people try to show off their skills a little too much, so much to the point that we can't even hear the decay and the result of the other effects.

Speaking of new gear: The P08, Haven't played on it all that much, but it does remind me quite a bit of my P5... in practice I've found the latter to be a bit too brassy for most applications. It can, however, make certain sounds you simple don't get anywhere else. I figure the 08 is somewhat more stable, the 5 being an unruly beast, but a bit too clean. I'd be very surprised if it's not a step up from your nord-lead though... Have yet to hear anything from a NL that doesn't sound mediocre.

Hmm, I had some thoughts about getting an Old School V, but even second hand those things are so damn expensive. You can almost always get better vintage gear for the money it costs to buy new instruments, with a few notable exceptions. A MS20 can actually complement the Moog sound pretty well, so you might want to consider it even though you've got one hell of a monophonic set-up already.
