BUSTED DS

EDIT: The top screen just fell off. The unit doesn't even turn on anymore...

Around a year and a half ago, my brother had an incident with his Nintendo DS. It fell onto hard pavement and the top screen came loose. It still worked-audio, touch, everything. The screen just was moveable.
Today, July 8th, 2007, something happened. I don't know what, but now it's crazy loose, I can even twist the screen around! The backlight still works, but not the actual display. It's real hard to move around in Pokemon now...
YouTube, I want your advice. What should my brother do if he wants to finish Pearl? Please, post comments or video responses with advice, money making tips (for a Lite), anything. I'll show him anything that can be helpful. Thanks a bunch.
