Crisis forces Germans to turn pets out of doors

As the economic crunch spreads further, more and more animal lovers in Germany have to give up their pets because they can no longer afford to keep them.

i agree with you keeping a dog is about raising another child. it costs money. still, i think animals are abondoned by people who took the animals in first place due to mode (fashion) or so. people who took animals out of love do not abondon them even in hard economic situation. i am sure it's true not only with Germany but with any other country, as well.
