I don't understand how censorship works in Lebanon! This man hasn't said anything we don't know, or new. He was recording 'history' in this scene too. He was not extreme in his ideas or expressions.

What he mentioned existed in all parties and militias.

Don't the Lebanese politicians accuse each other everyday on tv, with things worse than?

It seems obvious that such a scene would be cut because it paints one of the ruling parties as harmful. Of course similar stories can be found in every corner of Lebanon with common folk painting other militias in the same light. With so many layers of violence, how does one begin to reconcile? Can one side be told without the dozens of others being told as well? Above all, is reconciliation possible when those who conducted the war are still in power?
