This drive begins in Banff National Park, Canada, at the town of Banff. I headed east on Trans Canada Highway 1 to Canmore, then exited onto Highway 1A, the Bow Valley Parkway, for the rest of the drive into Calgary. This video passes the reservoir at Ghost Lake, then continues into downtown Cochrane, Alberta.

I made this same trip in a volkswagon van in 1971....Im amazed at how much I remember of these views ......its really time to go back
