Chicago is in the U.S. (last I checked any way). There is nothing wrong in putting forth a strong effort for one's country. Oh, and by-the-way, CONGRADULATIONS to the President for winning the Noble Prize for Peace! I guess the "whole world" didn't reject the President of the United States after all. I think the Repugs hurt themselves with their gleeful reaction to the failed Olympic bid. Average folk are starting to see that they passionately want Obama to fail, even if that means America fails with him. It makes them appear irrational, and therefore not credible, on health care and just about every other issue. People in the middle want to hear ideas, not just a petty spew of knee-jerk hatred.

Can you imagine what the retarded right would have said if Obama did not push for America hosting the Olympics?
