Mute because the song played in the background was copyrighted. Plus, it wasn't played completely, only less than half of it. Then I was forced to mute it. It doesn't matter, subtitles are still there, and all I wanted was a relaxing song. I happened to find a song I heard in McDonald's restaurant's radio. There you go, gone.

It's about time this gets uploaded eh?
I kept it long time ago. Time to share.

  • I liked that he actually used MSG, most Chinese restaurants use it even if they say they don't (because it makes things taste good). I didn't like the sauce, I've never tasted a good General Tso's with prepared bottled sauce.

  • Yeah chinese stores, restaurants and whatever in Chinatown are full of lies, I can admit that. I was forced to use way more MSG in restaurants than I did in that video at home. Even more than the double, sometimes. So people can imagine. Old healthy men from China suggested that we drink black tea to stay as healthy as them after eating so much MSG. Just a way to reduce the "MSG effects" on health I suppose. Up to you people when you go to Chinese restaurants. *Some vietnamese's too.

  • As for the sauce, I admit that a prepared bottled sauce doesn't make your general tao taste good, unless we do something about it. Which is why I recommend to put the sliced vegetables in that sauce like I did. I've seen many people buying the bottled sauce. So this video is meant for them. It just adds something special to the sauce. Worth a try.

  • You should always use a plastic cutting board for chicken (not wood.) The wood can absorb bad things.

  • Bad things such as? Scientifically, it doesn't matter if I use wooden or plastic boards for chicken (in fact, the wooden board destroy more bacteries than plastic board). It just depends how I handle things and take care of it. I usually use plastic for vegetables such as onions. It doesn't absorb the bad smell like woods do...

  • In that video, for some people who wonder, I've washed the board with detergent after the use (with chicken), then I let it dry before continuing (as you noticed, I took a break until it became night time, that's why). So it's suggested that you guys do the same if you intend to use the same board. I didn't use my little white plastic board because it gives me less space to handle all my vegetables. Everyone has their own style in cooking. Ask the professionals for boards use.

  • horrible recipe bro.

  • Me neither... when I need fresh soy sauce I go outside under the soybean tree and look for a puddle to scoop it from ;-)

  • Plus cooking kills most of the bacteria on food anyway, so I don't know why people act like they're performing surgery when they cook. I'm not saying be dirty and don't wash things, but at the same time, if we can boil fecal infested water and drink it,than you will have no problem cooking off a little bacteria that made it through the wash.

  • its fuking good general tao its the best i think after my i never eat chines food like that its soo tasty yum.
