2012 Honda Battle of the Bands

The 10th Annual Honda Battle of the Bands is heating up the Georgia Dome. The best Historically Black College and University marching bands from around the nation will gather and perform for glory and bragging rights, and all will leave winners taking home $20,000 in grants for their schools.

instead of having Maddonnonna, next year during half time have 5 bands from the intitial trilas play a 5 min. set, put a phone # up on the screen and let people vote, and in between the 3/4 quather, a pair of reps (2 people) represent each group, and count the winners from 5 to 1…it would really set up for a great ending. Trophy would be awarded after the game…..

There is absolutely no way that DCI and Show style bands can be compared. They're too different. That's why they have different competitions.

There is no way to compare the two DCI and Honda.....2 totally different styles and I respect them both having marched both styles......DCI isn't a group that consistently high steps and dances and HBCUs, don't perform shows that are as long or as musically themed as DCI....love them both
