CBS News Daley announces he will sign Olympic contract - June 17, 2009

CBS News Chicago's Jay Levine reports on Mayor Daley's announcement in Lausanne, Switzerland that he will sign the Host City Contract in order to stay in the hunt to get the 2016 Olympic games. This is essentially a blank check and would put the taxpayers of Chicago on the line to pay for any cost overruns for the games - this dispite repeated assurances in the past that this WOULD NOT happen.
