Smart Objects are potentially the most useful new feature in Adobe Photoshop CS2. In previous versions of Photoshop, if you wanted to resize individual elements, you had to be pretty sure you knew what size you wanted them. Because once you resized, any extra resolution was lost. But in Photoshop CS2, convert your layer into a special Smart Object.

i've used photoshop for that long and never really took advantage of the new features of CS2. hehe smart objects ;) definately gotta look into that thanks :P
