Errrmmm Ramones easily? I know a bunch of twenty year old somethings will say the Strokes, but there just another pop rock band with over produced records, and try to hard to make their songs seem really great by adding "funky" basslines and crappy guitar solo's. Ramones invented a genre of music and saved Rock. They influenced bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, wutta the Strokes done? Been commercial sellouts maybe
