Half-Life FX

This is a HL1 mod entitled, "HLFX". It adds all sorts of cool effects to the HL1 engine. It supports:

- Lightbloom
- Mirrors (water can be reflective, mirrors reflect your image, etc.)
- Self-shadowing (shine your flashlight at something and it casts a shadow)
- Enhanced particle effects (Explosions, etc.)
- Detail textures (Like CS:Condition Zero)
- Hanging ropes/wires (Like Opposing Force)

This is a short video of me playing it. It's very taxing on the hardware, especially water reflections, so I couldn't get any video of that...

Yeah yeah, Godmode - I was doing this to show off graphics, not difficulty or gameplay. :P

Not FX its diamond pack.

Fx has Health same as 2 you have "ragdoll" for first aid kids, guns, bricks.

You also have flashlight style like in hl2 more real textures etc...

You know what's pretty great? When people tell me it's not what I know it is (or in this case, was). Half-Life FX has probably updated a great deal since I made this video, but that doesn't change the fact that this was Half-Life FX when I downloaded it. All the menus, tech demos, everything about it identified itself as "Half-Life FX".

@Gammerman12 This mod is made by some russian people. They currently are busy with their own game. They won't release a source code. I asked them

Does anyone know who the creator for this is? I'm thinking of asking him for the Source Code, and see what I can do with porting some of these effects to Source (Realtime shadows don't show up in Half-Life 2: Episode 2. The Flashlight is just a special Entity)
