@MarcusBratske Regenerative braking power is limited by gear ratio and vehicle speed and comfort. Also they only brake with the drive wheels, in this case the rear wheels which is very unsafe and not as effective to panic stop with. Also regenerative brakes become less effective as vehicle speed decreases so they are good for slowing down, not so much stopping.

But what makes you think the regenerative brakes alone aren't save enough, don't perform as well as normal brakes or won't do good with emergencies? =)
