  • Thank you so much for showing how you do it. I've been crocheting for over 30 years. My grandmother taught me some time before I was 10 and she didn't force me to hold my yarn any certain way. So I hold my hook just almost like a pencil and the way I hold my tension is very, very similar to the way you do it. In all the beginner videos I've seen, it seemed I was doing it "wrong" -- until I found your video. For me, it's quite beautiful and relaxing to watch you crochet. It feels very natural.

  • ah man you do slow down a whole lot!!!! i wish i could crochet that fast lol

  • @maltesergr8 I always pull mine from the middle of the skein and end up with big knot as well. Most of the time I can unravel the yarn blob pretty good without further knotting.

  • Are you pulling yarn from the outside or middle of skein? I always thought it was from the middle, but the I usually come upon huge knots in the yarn. Thank you for all your videos, I watch them all repeatedly & learn so much -3
