Some photo processing places will scan your negative and give you a digital file along with your prints - best of both worlds.
Digital, Film, 35mm, 120mm, Plastic... none of that matters - it's the person holding the camera : ) Let the kids know that when you "expose" them to photography! : )

OMG, its been forever since Ive seen one of your videos. I used to be into film cameras. but film is becoming harder and harder to find ever since the whole photo world has gone digital

I love the AE-1. I get such great colors from it, even at night with no flash. (try fuji 400)
But mine own was stolen by my brother and the replacement one I have is busted.
Modern cameras suck! Either you can't set the aperture or it's too complicated to do so.
I never had to press that weird lever, I didn't even know what it was for.
