I meant it doesn't cover a full 35mm frame. Unless you're talking about cutting off the built in hood, thats different!
-
@TheGuyTakingPictures yes it is :) just search for nikon 10.5 mm fisheye full frame.
-
That's true,,
-
the 10.5mm is not a full frame lens.

@orlandothx thank you so much for your comment! :)

@orlandothx, for pano7.com I'm using 16-35 lens on my 5D which gives me more resolution but more work to stich images. fisheye would be easier to use. on top of that I'm shooting 3 times in each direction, for HDR, to maintain details in highlights and shadows. in total I'm taking around 85 shots. the final panorama could be much more detailed than what you can see there...

@orlandothx to take panoramas on my website (pano7.com) I moved the camera around 360° and from top to bottom, the second angle was only 180°, otherwise the camera would have to be kept upside-down pointing backwards :)
5:20, cute :)

Why not? It it exactly the same as with latitude and longitude. Longitude range is 360°, while latitude range is only 180° (from -90° to + 90°) - it is enough to cover whole Earth's surface :)
