The Bloc were not actual signatories to the coalition, but through a side deal agreed not to vote down the coalition on confidence motions. So the Bloc was given veto power over the coalition's survival. Yes, Harper was evidently ready to do the same thing, or something very similar, but that does not make it right.

I dont like Dion though

What a shameless, laughable piece of propaganda. It has been stated a million times that the Bloc will NOT have a part in the coalition; they will only support it. Also, Harper REALLY shouldn't run an ad that demonizes the Bloc-it royally pisses off the Quebecers, separatist and federalist alike, and especially when he was already having a hard time in Quebec. No mention of the NDP of course-I notice Jack Layton was cut out of the clip showing the signing of the coalition papers. xD

Yeah, I'd love to vote for Prime Minister, but you see I know how our parliamentary democracy works, and we never, ever get to vote for Prime Minister.
-
um...howcome the ad didn't say anything about the NDP?

Liberals and their supporters are only just realizing the huge blunder they made. They are now between a rock and a hard place. If they try to form a coalition the GG will call an election and they will lose another 25 or so seats. The liberals created a circus. They can't even run their own party. The liberal theme song should be "Yakety Sacks".

lol, the banks in Canada have a more conservative strategy than their American and European counter parts, not because the government told them how to run their business, lol. Nationalization means that the state is in control and not the people. It goes against basic fundamental democracy. If you can't understand why the state should not run everything then I suggest you take a look at Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea to get an understanding. Maybe you could read into the Soviet Union too.

Actually, the Liberals' past actions that the banks and Conservatives opposed are why the structure of our banking system is currently solid.
Bush nationalized banks out of desperation, not ideology, and was criticised by some of his supporters for it. Anyhow--care to explain what is actually bad about nationalization? The only explanation I hear from people is how it's bad because it's what "Evil liberal leftist communists" do, while showing no understanding of its effects.

We don't know that. I hear on the news many Liberal MP's asking Dion to resign now but Dion won't comment on it. I hope in their meeting next week, ALL Liberal MP's Get Dion to step down.
Even Liberal MP's r saying Dion leading the coaltion and might be PM is not good considering Canadians already rejected him in the election 2 month ago.
Even the Liberal MP's know's that which is good. They understand what a lot of Canadians are thinking. Dion can not be PM. THANK YOU!! to all Liberal MP's
Looks like the formula from the election ads hasn't changed. I'm guessing the 'sweater' may not make the cut this time around.

lol.
No mention of the NDP. And they also didn't mention that the majority of Canada (62%) "Overwhelming said No" to Harper.
