Season's Greetings from the Osceola County Animal Shelter. To celebrate the holidays, during the month of December, the Shelter is offering a "two for one" special when you adopt two cats. So, if you would like to adopt a cat, and you know someone who is also planning to adopt a cat, you can both come down and get two cats for the price of one. Now, that's a holiday treat!

Cat of the Week: Merry

Cat #2011-7442 - Keeping with the holiday theme, "Merry" is a two year old female Shorthair Domestic Tortoise Shell cat. Unfortunately, "Merry's" previous owner passed away, and family members were unable to adopt her. She is a wonderful cat, she is very social, she is an indoor cat, and she enjoys being held and petted. Come down and visit this adorable cat, her ID number is Cat ID #2011-7442.

Dog of the Week: Holly

Dog #2011-7181 - "Holly" is a six year old brown and white Boxer mix. She has been at the Shelter since November, so she needs to find a forever home and family right away. She is a stray, so not much is known about her, but she has won the hearts of the workers at the Shelter because she is friendly, she has a really sweet personality and she doesn't jump or bark very much. If you would like to come down and visit "Holly," her ID number is Dog #2011-7181.

"Merry," "Holly" and many other animals at the Osceola County Animal Shelter need forever homes. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals currently available at the Shelter, please come in and visit as soon as you can. Please, please keep in mind, however, that the animals' stay at the Shelter is EXTREMELY limited, and they may or may not be available when you arrive. The Shelter is located at 3910 Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud, or to find out what animals are available you can check the adoptable pets on the Osceola County Animal Control website at www.osceola.org/go/pets.
