I know the imagery is supposed to bring up hard emotions and thoughtful introspection, but it made me smile. I was in Ramadi. Hell, a few of those pictures were guys in my unit. And the opening shot of what we called the Jolie Mosque just brought up good memories.
War is ugly. It's tough, it's sad, and it sure as hell ain't something to be started on a whim. But in all seriousness, my year in Ramadi, and my three years in Iraq overall, were the best times of my life. Food for thought.

@willblackb4 Will, thanks for commenting. I make my little videos for myself, not to bring up emotions or introspection to anybody, necessarily. It's basically that I see all these wars as useless, wasteful, and not something I want done to keep me "safe" or "free". I'm glad you had a good time in Ramadi.

@trichoone We let ourselves get fooled into thinking we are each others' enemies. I think TV plays into that phony game, so I don't have one any more. Lots happier without it.
