The make-table action query in Microsoft Access is based upon the select-into statement in SQL. Create a make-table action query by choosing a table from which records will be selected under "Query Design" with help from a computer programming teacher in this free video on Microsoft Access.

  • Great info, but your use of the video medium is somewhat lacking: you cut out important parts of the process and skip quickly to others. I'm having difficulty recreating your results. you cutout the "INTO" part of the SQL. Isn't that the most important part?

  • I have the following fields in a query I ran Start time 1/15/2009 8:00:00 AM and End time: 1/15/2009 8:30:00 AM . How can I create a total column subtracting Start - End time? Having the date info messes my total on query. Thanks enjoy your videos. thanks
