Outdoor fire pits are a great way to keep warm outside on cool nights. Also, the smoke repels insects like mosquitoes, flies, and gnats.
The upside down fire burns slowly without fussing and adjusting the wood for hours.
The upside-down fire you build from the bottom up. First, place the biggest logs on the bottom with no spaces between them. Then, place another layer of smaller wood on top. Keep criss-crossing smaller and smaller logs. Finally, place the tinder bundle on top.
Lit the tinder bundle and watch your upside down fire burn.
