@lolerdylol If you haven't realised already, most metal is derived from blues in the first place, so yeah, play this faster with high gain over a heavy rhythm and it'll work perfectly.

@lolerdylol my friend, anything's possible, just listen carefully if it fits in the song

.12s on that guitar?

Is it possible to use this in funk, rock & roll and in metal? Or only in slow blues?

This video , and your 5 boxes videos helped me a lot .
Wish you could do other videos on this theme , which would help me and i believe so many others to not et stuck in the same pentatonic blues scale .
For example my problem is when to use which box , im not sure how and when to move to one box to another , im trying but an explanation with the notes u play during each box would be cool .
Hope you understood my request ,
Cheers and thanks for the lessons

Awesome!!! I've been trying to figure out these little nuances for quite awhile with little success. My guitar teacher is very good but he's a rock guy and doesn't care too much for learning riffs like these. You have earned yourself a fan!

-Fantastic!!- just what ive been looking for, moving between boxes has been difficult for me- this is a great technique-thanks very much!!
I appreciate your unbridled enthusiasm! ( try not to use too much profanity in the comments though...I've got viewers of all ages and I don't want to get in trouble with their parents.) Glad you're enjoying the videos. Check out the gear demo videos over at the website if you haven't already.
