The ones on here who are saying that GMC should just let it go and move on have no fucking clue how much money is actually involved here. He wrote the rhyme and dude didn't even change the lyrics to suit him because he himself was an idiot. This song still plays today and every time that record plays a check for royalties goes out to BBH. From 1979 to 2011 and that song still kills and is considered a classic. GMC should be compensated for that cuz he introduced a hip hop classic to the world.

in 79 hip hop was new mostly made up of street kids this shit about copy rights did not exist among so call friends. the end result is greed. hank never gave caz the respect and part of his money or credit to caz. don't blame caz for being bitter this rap made millions during 79 and caz got nothing but a knife up his ass. is rough to see your ex friend driving a cadillac or living in a big house and your money pay for it..
