Ultima Exodus walkthrough (pt 19: The pray cmnd, & 4 cards)

This is a narrated video walkthrough of the NES game Ultima Exodus. It is split into 20 segments and spans roughly 2 3/4 hours. I first recorded the video then added the narration on top of it and even after the narration, I've made a few more discoveries of tips and tricks, explained as needed in this description.

The nineteenth part is where I visit Yew for the all-important pray command and the silver horn. I also cover the last important trip to Ambrosia for four cards.

Without a walk-through or prior knowledge, how would you know to use the pray command in this way? Particularly with getting the cards. Is there any clue anywhere in the game that tells you to do pray AT each priest in Ambrosia?

I just experimented. Originally, my voice was not included here. I used the old segment-recording and insert method to fill in the details. In addition, I also checked a guide on some of these.

Can anyone tell me why, when I pray at the temples in Ambrosia, i get no cards, and when I go to pray at the circle of light in Yew, there's only 2 wizards at the circle and when I pray, nothing happens. No harp. I DO have all 4 marks from the caves, so I'm kinda stuck...

Just visiting the temple isn't good enough. You have to go to where the priest is, at the right position as if you were to speak to him. When done, all you need to do is access the pray command. Watch the video closely and you'll see what I mean.

Do you get the revive command also, since you get pray command?? Just asking..

I don't know of any revive command, nor how to get it.

If you haven't picked up on it already, there is a spelling error when you take the card of the moons, it reads "Brave one, take this "Card of the Moons" wiht you." It should be "with you".

I'd like to thank you for NOT showing us EXACTLLY where to go since we're likely able to get lost in that forest... very well done in instruction, but even better for getting people lost.
