There's not many cool station wagons around, but we reckon Steve Titcumb's CRITTA qualifies. Powered by a blown big block Chev v8, the HQ Holden wagon is a proven tyre killer and always popular with the crowd. As you can see Steve isn't afraid to give it some herbs either.

Unfortunately a bit of reverse gear action hurt his chances of a top 20 finish but it was still plenty entertaining.

  • That might possibly be the greatest burnout I have ever seen.......I hope he won.

  • @RamblinAround

    Didn't even make Top 20 :)

  • @blownhemi

Thats only because he had to throw it into reverse because he couldnt see because of the smoke

you loose crucial points if you have to stop and start again and you can even loose points for reverse burnout so stop bagging him plz apart from the fact he lost control he would have made it to the top ten easily

  • @BLO383

I wasn't bagging Steve at all, I was just pointing out that the quality of the field was so great that even a fantastic burnout like this didn't make the top 20.

  • @blownhemi the reason he thinks it was good is because he is american. and american burnouts are just on the spot and then they drive off

  • @munkywrench86

You got some good points there ;)

    I honestly don't know :P

  • @yuursk You sure its not because they see occasional runs down the drag strip? setup for drag or using an ex-drag car rear axle

  • he put a blown big block in a wagon.....he has already won, in my book.

  • the rear fender's are tubbed and diff cut shorter to fit larger tyre's for drag racing

  • I'm trying to understand why all those AUS burnout cars have short rear axles..

    Can someone tell me that?

  • AWW the smell of burning rubber, yes!
