  • Yes, Shadoe Stevens was in the first commercial, and Lumotaku, these were electronics stores in the 1980's.

  • Fred with the crazy hair/eyes would make a great image macro.

  • Keith Powell was president. Wilfred Schwartz was the owner. I received a settlement check for that polygraph scandal. Funny thing is that Leo's Stereo, University Stereo, Pacific Stereo all did the same thing and didn't get sued.

  • Owner Keith Powell and two other incorporated owners all got their asses sued off for illegally requiring all current and new employees to take polygraph tests in order to be employed and/or stay employed at the company. The litigation was sought by an warehouse manager from the Temple City, CA store location that was fired for other reasons.

  • Federated was badass before Best Buy infested us in Los Angeles. I got my very first home CD player there back in 89' goodtimes. I always loved their crazy ass commercials on TV. My favorite one is the "wanna see my tweeter and woofer?" ;)

  • seemore savemore LOLOLOLOL thanks for bringing back those memories...

  • never even heard of these stores.

  • Woot, the "psycho" one in #9 might be the best, but it's always been the mariachi spot that stuck in my head the longest.
