Quite an early line-up! In addition to Neil, Vivian, Roger and Rodney I see Vernon Dudley Bohay-Nowell and Sam Spoons, and is that Big Sid and Bob Kerr?

Good grief, that's simply amazing. I loooove finding Bonzo's material I've not seen before.

According to the archive this was broadcast on 28th February 1966, this video even contains the live links into and out of the pre-recorded performance. Is it at least possible that you had been led to believe it would be broadcast the day it was recorded, when actually it got shown in a later edition? If so you may simply not have been aware of the eventual transmission. Or maybe this is an alternative 'take' to what was transmitted, although those live links would suggest otherwise.

This was then followed by a film clip of Abbott and Costello, some ring gymnastics with Sgt. Pamcott (also a pre-rec), and finally a set of stamps commemorative the 900th anniversary of wesminster abbey which had been issued by the Post Office on that day.

This is from a live edition of Blue Peter on 28th February 1966. The shwo began with a piece about hamsters and gerbils, then a field mouse and a field mouse story, followed by a film by Chris called Tammoland. The archive then list this pre-recorded performance as being of 'There's no place like home' despite that being just the first few bars, this was followed by part 5 of a model farm make - the farm house, the some model farms made by viewers and a plug for the leaflet of the make.
