The best way to combat the mainstream media takeover of the Internet is to only buy music, movies, books, magazines, and newspapers from alternative media, independent studios, and small record labels. Sell/trade any DVDs and CDs you have from the big 6 media conglomerates. Don't use myspace or IGN which are owned by Fox. Don't even look at a trailer to their movies.

What is our country becoming!? Just wait...they'll be burning books eventually.
I read 1984 a while ago and thought it was a well written book. I never thought that a fairy tale like that could be real, but alas
Just look around you. $4 a gallon, restricted communication, never ending war against an unknown enemy. The quality of YOUR life is being diminished. Because when the cost of gas goes up, then the cost of everything is affected. Gas will be $8 per gallon Next Summer. How do you feel?

Excactly right, but sadly you might as well all figure out an island in the pacific to move to with me. We can make coconut shell satellite dishes and learn to hack our way past the encryption! It would be so fun!!!!
