SBC 305 Nitro Engine Blow Up Contest Blowing Motor

WFO Racing end of season Halloween Party at Finns place. 305 Chevy Small Block lasted 2:40 on full Nitro Methane.

I'm "Junk 305 Man". With the help of my trusty sidekick "Engine Stand Boy" we will do our best to rid the engine world of turds like the 305 Chevy.
Just doing our part to recycle while having fun.
Besides, what goes better with alcohol like blowing things up.

How did you do the setup to run full nitro?

Start on gas, direct port at back of carb for Nitro.

i have a 170,000 on my vortec 305 with no problems

Granted, 305's do run fine for basic stock transportation. But when doing a transplant for HP, we like to blow up what's left. Who in thier right mind would waste money on rebuilding one?

@F1N9ERS Why the hell would you waist the time to even install it. They drink gas like a 350 and have the hp of a 6. They have had their day. You abviously don't know to much about engines.

how are all these engine blowing up? whats making them blow? i know it aint high rpms because that is not what blows engines. its lack of oil or lack of cooling.

why wate a 305 man, there decent motors, got one in my 89 1/2 and it runs long and hard all day every day, im at the lights down the street from the high school every afternoon blowing civics and mustangs away with only and intake and cam, dont waste any more
