Super Winiwini E flat yirdaki - highly resonant & powerful

This is an outstanding yirdaki made by Larry Winiwini, with exemplary acoustic balance and depth. A super fine instrument with super everything: back pressure, loudness, responsiveness, resonance, acoustic elasticity etc. etc. This is a DREAM yirdaki even by iDIDJ Australia's standard.

This super stick plays in the key of E flat fundamental. The overtone note, when played softly, tunes to E. If blown harder, it jumps to F.

Construction is excellent, with comfortable and perfect smooth mouthpiece. The bell end is clear and thin-walled, giving this yirdaki super resonance.

As previously mentioned, because of Winiwini's expertise in playing yirdaki, he has that special privilege of being able to make instruments to his exact standards. That is, to be able to refine and 'tune' his yirdaki so that they play exactly as he wants them to. This makes his instruments not only wonderful players, but ones that are capable of responding to his unique playing style.
