Why is microtonal music important? And why do I consider microtonal music unimportant? And why does serialism not matter anymore? Except in terms of electronic music? These are only a few of the questions I ask my elders of composition amongst the stars and found the answers to be quite succinct and very easy to comprehend. http://www.temperamancy.net

  • I like what you're saying... I've recently discovered microtonal music and just the understanding that musical tones much like colors are virtually infinite, even beyond our own ability to hear them (ultra and sub sonic) much like light's spectrum... my god it's mind bogglingly awesome. Colors and sounds are both wavelengths, able to be represented however the artist feels like. There is no conformity as such... I don't know if I make sense but I get frenzied when I think about this stuff lol
