He met Asuka, but as of right now I don't think there's any love interest involved, as she is his cousin from the Kazama side ( though the whole cousin thing dosen't seem to be a big deal in Japan, so that's a moot point. ) another character named Xiayou is interested in a loving relationship with Jin, but he's always been oblivious/not interested.

Even in Tekken 6, Xiayou still pines for him, but I am none too familiar with the story behind it. I doubt Jin's relationship status has changed.

i thought Asuka and Jin were related too but it clearly states in the background that they are not. She got the name do to the fighting style. once you learn it for whatever reason, you inherit(sp) the name as your last. A custome, so it says.
