@senorportie S'all good, this band is an important part of portuguese musical history. You couldn't know that so no worries. You see until the 70's portugal was under a heavy dictatorship. In 74 there was the "Carnation Revolution" which is notable for the fact that the protesters put carnations into the soldiers weapons, making it the most peaceful revolution there probably ever was (4 dead in the whole country). This band was part of the start of the musical era without censorship afterwards.

@senorportie You should research a bit before saying trash you know. The portuguese GNR band is 5 years older then Gun n'Roses. I'm also a fan of Gun n'Roses dude but this has nothing to with it and predates it by quite a bit. The portuguese GNR name comes from the portuguese Guarda Nacional Republicana, a special branch of the portuguese police which is subject to military law and has more emphasis on specialized personnel.
