Riding the weird, dark, pitch black elevator inside the main academic building at Baker College of Owosso. They were probably either getting ready to shut the college down for the night, or were turning out the lights to conserve energy. The leveling on this one is strange; floors 2 and 3 are switched around. There could be a stairway on the level designated 3 that leads up to the roof (there are actually 2 main floors in addition to the basement). That is the only possible explanation that I have for the leveling being what it is. I did not "investigate" what floor 3 goes to (which I probably should have).

TECHNICAL SPECS:
Make: Detroit Elevator
Type: Hydraulic
Capacity: 2500 Lbs.
Number of Floors: 4
Year Installed: 1980-1985 (?)

  • You'll need a flashlight to ride this elevator.

  • A very strange floor layout, and someone needs to figure out how to change a light bulb!
